Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
A jet transporting the US defense secretary was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.
"The jet landed based on standard procedures and all individuals on the flight, such as Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative stated in a public statement.
The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels at the time.
This incident isn't the first time that a US military aircraft carrying a senior official has experienced equipment failures.
Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to head back to Washington DC after encountering a mechanical fault.
